Beau Cassidy is a Los Angeles based composer, sound designer and ARIA nominated song writer.
Born in Sydney, Australia, he spent 10 years as a recording and touring artist and as the singer/guitarist/songwriter for the band Starky he released two acclaimed albums for Universal Music, ‘Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre’ (2003) and ‘Starky’ (2006). In 2007 he was nominated for an ARIA (Australian Record Industry Awards) for Breakthrough Single for his song ‘Hey Bang Bang’. In 2018 he was awarded 'First Runner Up' in the 6th Annual Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Competition.
Beau has won a gold Promax BDA (2010) for his sound design work for the television program
‘Doctor Who’ and a Silver Game Marketing Award (2014) for his sound design work on the trailers
for ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts.’
As an audio/visual editor for video games, Beau has edited and sound designed countless trailers
for AAA titles including: ‘Mad Max’, ‘Call of Duty’ (Black Ops II, Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, Black Ops III),
'Destiny', 'Assassins Creed' (Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate), 'FarCry 3, 4 and 5', 'Watchdogs',
'Star Wars: Battlefront', 'The Division' and 'Titanfall 2'.
Beau is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music.
